Enjoy a week of farm activities

At Casey Farm, campers experience work and play from a farmer’s point of view: helping to care for our animals’ daily needs, collecting and washing eggs, watering the gardens, and having good old-fashioned fun.

Throughout the week campers enjoy a hayride to the Narrow River for supervised swim time at the waterfront, play historic games and make historic crafts, get hands-on experience with farm animals, hike to Narragansett Bay and hunt for crabs, and have fun in the sun. Campers also enjoy a historic tour, try the Boot Toss, participate in the vegetable relay, hunt for the hidden animal, and play Mystery Object. The week culminates in a fun-filled day of making ice cream, butter, candles, and soap, and playing homemade carnival games before the ever-popular camp-wide challenge, Egg Drop. For ages 6-8.

Demand for these programs has been overwhelming, with Growing Together selling out in less than an hour. In addition, the wait list for all sessions is now full. If we are able to re-open the list, we will put a message up here. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Please Note: The safety of campers and staff is our priority. Rhode Island has not yet released guidance for summer programming, but we will follow all mandated COVID-19 safety protocols.

Ages 6 – 8

Cost:

• $310 per week
• $260 per week for Historic New England members (Dual Plus level or above membership must be valid through July 31, 2022). To receive the membership discount, please join/renew online before registering.
• Casey Farm CSA members or families registering a second child or for a second week are entitled to a $20 discount. Please see instructions on registration page.
• Summer camps refund policy: Advance registration and payment are required. Cancellations at least one month prior to the program receive a full refund. We reserve the right to cancel the program if it does not reach minimum enrollment.

Six Sessions are offered Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
